Cherry Chase Pacman Challenge

Cherry Chase Pacman Challenge

For two exciting weeks, the 284 students of Burns Elementary Middle School arrived each morning with extra determination during the Cherry Chase Pacman Challenge. In the cafeteria stood a giant PAC-Man board, bright and bold, stretching across the wall where everyone could see it. Each class had its own lane, and every day their attendance percentage inched higher as more students showed up ready to learn. The board became the heart of the school students hurried through the doors eager to see how their class was “chomping” toward victory, teachers cheered as the numbers grew, and friendly competition filled the hallways with energy.

By the end of the two-week stretch, the excitement had reached its peak. The PAC-Man board was nearly complete, showing just how committed the students had been to coming to school every single day. When the final percentages were announced, applause echoed through the cafeteria. As a well-earned reward for their dedication, students celebrated with trays of hot, delicious chili cheese fries. Laughter, smiles, and a sense of pride filled the room, proving that teamwork, consistency, and a little bit of Pac-Man fun can make showing up every day something to truly celebrate.
